"Rambunctious Garden: Saving Nature In A Post-Wild World" by author Emma Marris covers plenty of fascinating and important work by scientists from across the world, but she advocates on behalf of much of the work she describes, and many of the environmental ideas and practices presented with enthusiasm in this book have troubling implications. Ultimately, this book is worth a read to find out what the hot new ideas are, but definitely be prepared to keep your own counsel about the wisdom of all these new ideas and approaches.
